The last day in New York was very exciting. It was an early breakfast again and afterwards a little workshop to know what to do in certain situations on an exchange year. At about 11 a.m. we took the bus to Manhattan directly next to World Trade center. We walked around there and also saw the 9/11 memorial nearby.

In the few time we had our little lunch break for we went through a fancy looking mall which amazed me because it looked very futuristic.

After lunch we walked down Broadway to the place where the ships depart to Liberty Island. Our whole group went on one boat and found ourselves on the island a couple of minutes later. We walked around the Statue of Liberty and took a couple of pictures. The place was very crowded but we managed to get our way one time around the statue and back to the departure station for the boats.

For dinner we went to Hard Rock cafe and the music was great. I had a cheeseburger and it was delicious. I took a couple of pictures of Times Square before we took the bus to get to the hotel again.
